Blue Bolt, Managing Director, Emerge, said eagle-eyed OCM fans would have spotted Modified Elite branding on the teams bikes in the last few races. The agreement has now made them title sponsor and therefore the branding will also go onto the riders jerseys for the foreseeable future..
He added: “Today’s announcement takes Emerge's existing partnership with ME to a new level. We are delighted to have its support in what promises to be a thrilling season of action. Our target is to improve as a team, and help Nijholt to reach his full potential. He will also be joined by a new English rider in the coming days who we hope can propel the team to greater heights.”
Paul Hart, Owner, Modified Elite, said ME was proud to be supporting the Emerge Team this year. “Emerge is renowned for its innovation and technical expertise, as well as loyalty of a very high standard. With similar brand values, this is something Mod Elite is delighted to be aligned with.”
Paul concluded: “We wish the team great success for the forthcoming season and look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with Emerge.”
A strong bond between the two companies already exists in England, where Emerge, Managing Director, Blue Bolt is a major player at Modified Elite for representing them around the UK with some of the best show cars around.
Emerge's attack on season 16/17 will once again be spearheaded by a winning partnership of riders – Superb sprinter, and local boy Avery 'The Bird' Nijholt and TT expert Dutchman Tjaard 'The Watcher' Saaberg.
Both were in contention for placings during the teams brief spell in Division 4 and 5, and eventually catapulted Emerge into the 3rd division in less than one year of existence. Nijholt, despite never achieving a top 3 so far has a bright future and all the team are behind him to help him reach these goals. On the other hand Saaberg has achieved superb results in the last season, including 4 first places, and 2 second place finishes. The most impressive however was his first race in Division 3, where he pulled off a terrific ride to get second at Luts - Luts (ITT).
